Custom Test Systems for Powertrain Sub-Assemblies

InterTech’s custom solutions for functional testing of powertrain parts such as oil pumps and cam phasers, and leak testing of cast powertrain components provide unsurpassed accuracy and ability to comply with today’s automotive quality standards.

Cylinder Head

Cylinder heads are leak tested and marked within 30 secs.

Engine Block

Six cup plugs and one water pipe are automatically loctited and pressed into an engine block prior to mass flow leak testing.

Engine Leak Test System

InterTech M-1035 Mass Flow Leak Detectors test a family of diesel engines (3, 4 and 6 cylinders) for leakage at a rate of 26 pph.

Water Pump

Pumps are leak tested in-line to a 15 sccm. limit at 20 psig. at a rate of 180 pph.
